Nigeria is powerful when it comes to religion or churches. In every state of Nigeria, there are more than 20 distinct churches to be found. But in this piece, I’m going to present, in my view and based on my study, the top 9 renown or well-liked churches in Nigeria.

1. Redeemer Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Pa Josiah Akindayomi invented or founded the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1952, and Pastor E.A. Adeboye serves as the organization’s current general overseer. The largest church in Nigeria is the RCCG.

The RCCG theater, also referred to as the “redemption camp,” is situated on more than hectares of ground in Ogun State alongside the Lagos-Ibadan throughway. One million worshipers may fit in the camp alone at once, and from there, it has distributed branches across Nigeria and even outside.

Mountain Of Fire Miracle Ministry (MFM), founded in 1989 by Dr. Daniel K. Olukoya, was included in our ranking of the top 10 largest churches in Nigeria. The organization, known as MFM, has branches all around the world and its own theater, named “Prayer.”
