David served Saul, but it was the whole nation of Israel that celebrated him …
Joseph served Potiphar, but the whole nation of Egypt celebrated him…
Ruth served Naomi, and till today, generations after generations are celebrating her…
Waiting for the people you served to celebrate you shows that your vision is so poor in life …
Please, Serve God in that church …
Help people as much as you can and remove your eyes from the appreciation of men…
Some of us understood this many years ago and we took the path we took…
Even while sleeping under uncompleted buildings, even while starving, we were still serving …
Some took it as weakness … Others thought it to be madness…
At a point, we wonder if we are not out of our senses…
But the voice of time is helping us to understand that we were in line with the code of process …
The way you are hunting for appreciation in that small church is causing problem for you in the spirit…
Unless your own God is a poor god…
No matter how rich those you have helped before becomes tomorrow…
No matter how global that church grow to become in future, they are still going to become too poor to compare with God…
Appreciate Him for the opportunity to serve Him and the people He brought for you to assist in your little way ..
Man has no retentive memory that gravitates to appreciation…
Church might forget to honour you…but remembers all your mistakes…
But God is so loving that He can never forget the labour of love…
I took a vow that till Jesus comes, wherever they mention the name of Ruth is where they will mention the name of this man Iyke Oriaku…
I asked God for the cost to walk in that reality and He told me…
And I told Him that I am ready to pay… and till today, we are still paying… till we pay it in full…
Friends, many people cannot take the road we have taken and still mention God’s Name again…
But the story is not over yet …We know that glory will come …
But incase this generation does not appreciate our sacrifice of tears and pain…
I know that a generation will walk this earth that will read about my journey of sacrifice and tell their children about it…
That is our consolation, sir..
I don’t know about you…
