A return to the studio after a six-years personal hiatus, Ray’Em (Formerly Rae’Em of the Mama Roll fame) births “Waves”. A song which artistically summarizes his life’s journey so far since he came to the light in Jesus Christ. Waves is an inspirational song for the everyday human, especially the Christian who is finding and exhibiting his purpose in this world while contending against life’s ups and downs and the backward pull of the world.
Ray’Em drops this piece over a concatenation of two beats by Kontekst and Beautiful Eulogy. Switching from a high-tempo upbeat singing style to the laid back and relaxed feel-good rap style we all knew and loved him for. The song was recorded, mixed and mastered by O’tee Beatz who he worked with on the song Mama Roll.
Ray’Em is currently working on an EP that will be announced and released soonest.

Picking up a love for art, creativity and music at a very young age, Ray’Em was exposed to the works of some of the very best artists and artistes of the 90s. He would later grow up to explore and develop different forms of art and music through which he expresses his divine gift of reaching into the hearts of people.
Ray’Em first shot to the limelight back in 2007 using the moniker Rae’Em when he released songs like ‘Killer (Mama Roll)’, Try Me and You Gon’ Know, and then he left the music scene for some soul finding.
